Reporting to the Director of Career Services for Everest Central, you will join a team that also includes another Externship Coordinator and four Career Services Representatives, who help place students after graduation. You will support students regarding mandatory externships in dental assisting, medical assisting, medical administrative assisting and medical insurance billing & coding programs.

You also will need the ability to stay on track with specific goals while responding to issues and opportunities that may arise. To excel in this role you will have exceptional listening skills to find out, in any given situation, what the real issues are and take steps quickly to move things in the right direction. You also will need to be comfortable holding students accountable -- sometimes a little tough love goes a long way.
