The Requirements

To be a good fit for the Student Finance Support Supervisor opportunity, you will have:
  • A bachelor's degree.  
  • A minimum of 3 years of financial aid experience with at least 2 years in a supervisory / management position.
  • The ability to train, supervise, and coach a team of direct reports.
  • The ability to multi-task, organize, and establish priorities.

The Role

Reporting to the Student Finance Support Manager, you will be directly responsible for the general oversight, management and direction of a specific Student Finance Support function.  On a high level, your mission will be to ensure that student finance operational processes meet service level agreements, satisfy our high quality standards, and maintain consistency and compliance. In order to reach your objectives, on a daily basis you will directly manage the activities of between ten and twelve Student Finance Support Representatives and demonstrate exemplary leadership and teamwork skills, a positive attitude, accountability to Company values, and excellent customer service.  You will be tasked with upholding and enforcing all company policies and best practices, and State / Federal rules and regulations.  Quick question for you - click here
 
More specifically, you will:
  • Manage and monitor staff production to maximize quality, consistency, compliance and efficiency of all operational activities. (55%)
  • Complete routine performance monitoring and provide regular, structured feedback and coaching to ensure the highest quality results. (15%)
  • Monitor and manage assorted administrative tasks for team, including but not limited to:  attendance and tardiness tracking, payroll, and corrective action. (10%)
  • Assist in staff training by conducting sessions as needed. (10%)
  • Provide process improvement recommendations in order to maximize compliance, efficiency and customer service. (5%)
  • Other related duties as assigned. (5%)
