What's in It for You

Professional growth -- we're building our bench to support our ongoing growth; in fact, this position is open because the incumbent was promoted into a regional role. We'll make sure you become familiar with all aspects of campus operations (admissions, human resources, legal, and more) to pave the path for you to move up. You will report to and learn from a Campus President who not only has more than 25 years of experience in this industry, but also worked her way up the ranks.

You can have it all: Autonomy, teamwork, resources -- while the department you'll take over is performing well, you'll have opportunities to drive positive change; once you have proven yourself you'll enjoy a good deal of autonomy. At the same time you'll join an outstanding management team, made up of down-to-earth people who are here for the right reasons, that embraces collaboration and mutual support. You'll have access to excellent resources from industry experts in our Campus Support Center -- that's what our corporate office is called, and they take that name seriously.

Commitment to excellence -- throughout CCi we take pride in treating each student as an individual, setting them up for success and providing them with clear expectations. At Everest College Aurora, we're committed to setting the pace for the rest of the company; we're not number 1 yet, but you'll help us get there!

One of the nation's top places to live and work -- with four seasons of outdoor lifestyle and all the amenities of a world class city, Denver repeatedly appears on "best places" lists. We offer relocation assistance.

Excellent compensation -- in addition to a competitive salary and discretionary bonus program we offer an excellent benefit package including an employee stock purchase program, comprehensive healthcare program, a 401(k) plan, and more.

More About Your Role

If you're a good fit for this position, you already know most of what this job entails. However, to be sure we're providing a complete picture, here are some details.

Reporting to the Campus President, you will provide leadership to four Student Finance Planners and two Student Finance Processors. The executive leadership team you'll join includes the Directors of Admissions, Student Services, and Career Services as well as the Academic Dean. Everest Aurora currently serves more than 600 students, offering degree and certificate programs in Accounting, Business, Criminal Justice, Dental Assisting, Medical Administrative Assisting, Medical Assisting, Medical Insurance Billing & Coding, Paralegal and Pharmacy Technician.

You will invest the largest portion of your time in ensuring that your team supports both the students and the Admissions Department by processing financial aid applications and other related paperwork with a high degree of accuracy and in a timely manner. This will include a broad range of activities, from day-to-day problem solving to conducting student orientations. It also will include partnering closely with the Director of Admissions to ensure applicants are getting the service and attention they need. Quick question for you - click here

In the process, of course, you'll make sure everything is done in compliance with relevant federal and state regulations as well as company policy, which will involve reviewing reports and facilitating audits. You also will oversee finance activities related to campus operations, such as cash management and allocation of campus-based funds.

In addition you will play an active role, as a member of the Executive Leadership team, in looking out for the welfare of the entire campus. In this regard you'll leverage your finance expertise, but you'll also contribute to decision-making processes, projects and initiatives beyond the finance arena.

Keys to Success

To excel in this role you will put your strong leadership skills to work in order to deliver results -- the Student Finance team is already hitting targets, so you'll step into a situation in which expectations are high. If you're coming from the public education sector you'll need to embrace our proprietary business model, particularly the fact that Admissions is our sales and revenue engine, and a primary customer for your team. You also will need to be flexible in interacting with a highly diverse student body on an inner city campus. Just as we are proactive about ensuring security, you'll need to be proactive about respecting different values and personalities.

If this sounds like the right mix of challenge and opportunity for you, and you meet the minimum qualifications, we want to hear from you!
